During the city meeting on May 7th, the city of Miramar, FL, declared April 23rd, "Angelique Francois Day," a newly recognized national holiday honoring my years of dedication to pageantry, Haitinand community impact. Following my most recent achievement as Miss Choucoune International 2024, I was deeply humbled to be celebrated for the influence and positive contributions I’ve made within the city. This recognition stands as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through faith, humility, hard work, and self-validation. True success often blooms in moments when no one is watching—because those are the moments that speak the loudest. I hope my journey inspires others to keep giving, striving, and believing in their purpose. I will not use this day solely to celebrate myself, but to continue the work I’ve already started. My mission is to give this day back to the community by creating opportunities and expanding access to resources that will empower the next generation, not just to be like me, but to be even greater.
